Hooray! It's National Library Week!

National Library Week is an annual celebration highlighting the valuable role libraries, librarians, and library workers play in transforming lives and strengthening our communities. This year’s theme, Drawn to the Library, highlights, in part, the emergence of graphic novels as one of the most popular and widely circulated parts of many library collections!

At the RPL, we have engaging, thoughtful, beautifully illustrated graphic novels available for readers of all ages! Once dismissed in the same way comic books were in the early part of the last century, graphic novels are now recognized as one of the best ways to keep young readers engaged and set the foundations of a lifetime love of reading!
